50' Sock Hop a Great Success

Brothers Families and Friends,

I want to extend my thanks to all brothers who helped with our 50's Sock Hop.  To say it was a success is an understatement.  I received many compliments on the meal,  entertainment,  youth group and brother knights who were present  during the event.  There are many people to thank from the set up crew, cooks, kitchen assistants, servers, donation bar attendants, Raffle attendants, ticket takers and clean up crew.  ALL performed exceptionally and you have my deepest thanks. (I will make a separate list by our next meeting)

A special thanks to DGK Ken Seguin who chaired the event, I know first hand the administrative task involved to make this work.  Thank you Ken for your leadership and help.

Many thanks to our customers who provided great participation ,I thought I was back in the late 50's and early 60's with the great

outfits people wore.   and special thanks for your contribution  of

almost 200 pair of socks for Pinellas Hope.  The socks were  delivered today.

It is very heart warming to hear people say how much they appreciate the Knights bringing our Parish Family closer together.  That is what we are all about, and our Unity makes it all happen.

God Bless and

It Is A Great Day to Be A Knight!

50's Sock Hop - Nov 21st

Brothers Families & Friends,

Our council continues to bring our parish together during our 50 year
celebration.

Each week after each Mass Brother Knights will be by the fountain
selling tickets to our Nov 21, "50's Sock Hop". You won't want
to miss this one. Return to the days of Cousin Brucie and Wolfman
Jack. Ladies break that poodle skirt out of mothballs and dance the
night away to all the hits performed by "Ron and The Classics" , you
will not be disappointed!

Click this link to see a flier describing the Event!

Enjoy Mel's Meatloaf with all the trimmings along with a great Ice
Cream Sunday Bar. We may have a few surprise along the way to make the
night memorable. I am told we may have several vintage autos in the
parking lot for viewing as you arrive.

We will also have a box available for sock donations to the needy
after Mass and as you arrive to the event.

As our DGK told me "Be there or Be Square"!

God Bless and
It is a Great Day To Be A Knight!
